PRO WRESTLING BACK IN CLEVELAND!

 



With everything slowly going back to normal sports have slowly lifted their restrictions and crowds are coming back, and with arenas allowing more and more fans back the SPORT of professional wrestling is back. More importantly, local pro wrestling is back here in Cleveland. This sunday the NEO Sports plant will be holding a pop up show to welcome back fans and help us get back to normalcy. Doors will be opening at 4pm, with the first bell at 5pm. Tickets are $10 and are already limited so get them while you can. The address to the Sports Plant is 20001 Euclid Ave in Cleveland. Parking is in the rear of the building. Come out and check our live pro wrestling and support independent pro wrestling!

 North Olmstead, Ohio   In the last home game until the end of the season the Crunch hosted their divisional rivals the Muskegon Risers in a pivotal match up before the Crunch hit the road. The Crunch came into the game tied with the RGV Barracudas for the leagues best record. The Crunch defended home as expected. The first quarter started off slowly before the Risers put one in the back of the net to take the lead. The Risers would hold that lead until Admir Suljevic would score with 2:08 left in the first to tie the game at 1-1. Just before the end of the first, Kurt Raney would hook up with "The Captain" David Jordan to take a 2-1 lead going into the second period.  In the second period Chris Cvecko would shoot a dime past the Risers goal keeper to give the Crunch a 3-1 lead with 7:26 left before half time. FINAL FOUR SET, CRUNCH LOOKING TO REPEAT!

          The Crunch are back in the MASL2 playoffs and are looking to repeat as league champs. With the semi-finals being set, the Crunch are ready to not only defend their cup from last season, but also add to the trophy case. Last season, the Crunch went through the gauntlet and defeated Wichita and brought home the cup in their first year back from a 20 year hiatus. This year the road is a little different as they are now the overall number 1 seed and finished the regular season 12-0. Which is also the first undefeated season in franchise history. This weekend the Crunch will see a familiar opponent in the Muskegon Risers in the marquee  game of the Semi-finals. Muskegon made it to the final four by defeating fellow division rival Chicago to get to see the Crunch.
