COBRAS LOOK TO BOUNCE BACK, HAWKS LOOK TO STAY PERFECT!

The Cleveland Cobras look to bounce back from a week one loss to the Ohio Gladiators, But they have a tough task ahead as the travel to play the Greensburg Golden Hawks. One team will be coming in looking to stay ahead in the league standings. The other will be looking to bounce back and will be looking to improve from week one. so lets look at the tale of the tape.

GREENSBURG GOLDEN HAWKS:

Head coach: Curtis Gardner

record: 1-0 (beat Ohio Phoenix in week one 21-0

players to watch offense:  (RB)Shai Mckenzie,  (QB)Dakota King, (WR)Deandra Smith

players to watch defense: (LB)Damon Jett, (DE)Seth Spoonhoward, (CB)Lonnie Chambers

overall: The Hawks look to stay perfect after beating the Ohio Phoenix 21-0 in week one. Former Virginia Tech Hokie Running back Shai Mckenzie will look to have a good showing against the Cobras to help in the Hawks push towards another win. On defense look for Linebacker Damon Jett to lead the charge with help from Seth Spoonhoward on the defensive line, and in the Secondary Standout Cornerback Lonnie Chambers will be looking to keep the Cobra receivers on an island.

CLEVELAND COBRAS:

Head coach: Adam Rogerson

record: 0-1 (lost to Gladiators in week one 36-0)

overall: The Cobras will look to avenge their week one loss to the Ohio Gladiators. Ironically, the Cobras won the turnover battle, but they had trouble moving the ball on offense. The defense was on the field for most of the game which hurt the Cobras the entire game. We spoke with Head coach Adam Rogerson about his expectations and this is what he had to say.

" We have things that need to be cleaned up. Last week was a learning experience for us. We are going to continue to work hard at practice this week and go to the Hawks and compete at a high level. We flat out lost to a better and more prepared team last week and we look to change that this week."

BOTTOM LINE: As with last week we will be streaming this game live, But the keys to this game will be if the Cobras can stop the run game and move the ball on offense. If they can generate turnovers and control the clock then it will help the defense. The Hawks will have to make sure they can continue to run the ball successfully. If they can do that and keep the balance then they will make a statement going 2-0 in to week three.

Kickoff will be at 5pm. This will also be a "Breast cancer awareness" game for the Hawks as well. As always if you can't make it to the game you can catch it on the 216 Sports Network YouTube channel and on our Facebook page as it will be a dual platform broadcast! See you Saturday!
