KINGS CROWN CRUNCH!!

The Crunch were looking to bounce back from a disappointing overtime loss to the Wichita Wings Saturday night,. Unfortunately, the Crunch were defeated. This was the second in a back to back weekend for the Crunch and the team's regular season finale. 

Crunch forward Ryan Minick would score two goals in the first half to give the Crunch a 2-0 lead before the Kings would tie the game just before halftime at 2-2. In the third quarter Chris Cvecko would find the back of the net to give the Crunch a 3-2 lead, but that would be all or the Crunch as the Kings would battle back to tie the game and then put the game on ice for a 5-3 win. The Kings win the rubber match but the Crunch still take the three game season series 2-1.

There is good news and bad news though. The good news, the Crunch will be in the playoffs in July and looking to bring home a M2 championship. The bad news for the opposing teams in the playoffs is that the Crunch will be at full strength and will boast the league's leading offense and arguably the best goalkeeper in the league in Marijo Musa. We won't know the Crunch's opponent in the playoffs as of this writing as there a still a few teams fighting for a playoff spot. What we do know is that the Crunch will be back at full strength ready to play.  Soon as more information on the playoff format is given we will have it for you.

PUT EM' IN THE COFFIN!!!

 Hoffman Estates, Illinois        The Cleveland Crunch have been on a mission this season. With arguably the toughest schedule in MASL 2 this year the Crunch have definitely faced test after test and have weathered the storm. Don't believe us? Let's put it into perspective. Upon their return in 2021 the Crunch won the M2 championship in the first year back. A feat that isn't done often in any sport. Not only that, the Crunch have taken this year's schedule and battled with even more physicality and determination than last year. This season is no different as they traveled to Chicago to play the Mustangs in a weekend series. This was the rematch as the Crunch swept Chicago in the first weekend series at home at the Soccerplex in North Olmstead. As always this particular rivalry is the best in M2. CRUNCH SHOW OUT ON BANNER NIGHT!!

Cleveland, Ohio                         If you haven't been watching the Cleveland Crunch yet, You might want to. Why? Simple, the Crunch are showing why they're one of if not the best professional indoor soccer team in the country, and from the looks of things that sentiment is not changing any time soon.                                        ( All photos courtesy of 216 sports network photography) Saturday night was a special event as the Crunch celebrated their 2024 MLIS title win. Players and staff were presented with rings and the all coveted 5th championship banner. Which makes the 5th star on the team crest official.
