UNFINISHED BUSINESS! BREAKING GROUND 2 RESULTS

 Euclid, Ohio

This past Thursday night The Great Lakes Wrestling Federation held their second event "Breaking Ground 2" at the Neo Sports plant in Euclid, Ohio. The card was stacked and there was some unfinished business between two competitors.

1) "Original Grappla" KJE vs. Tyriq Kalam: This match spurned from the last event when Kalam didn't appreciate the treatment KJE gave EL Taino after their match. KJE controlled most of the match, but the power displayed by Kalam later in the match gave him the win.

2) Vanilla Gorilla vs. the Iron Tiger: The Vanilla Gorilla came in a heavy Favorite against the New-comer from Japan in an open challenge. The Tiger started off strong with a takedown and a few flurry punches, but the Gorilla quickly took control and showed he's still got it in the ring. The tiger tried to mount a comeback but was quickly sent back to japan after a knee bar submission giving the Vanilla Gorilla the win.

3) Rex Brody vs. Tyler Klein: The "Resident Stunt Man" was looking to go 2-0 in the "Breaking Ground" series. This time his opponent would be the "Trophy boy" Tyler Klein who would be accompanied by his tag partner Calvin Couture. Rex would have a leg up against Tyler, But some interference from Couture would have the match thrown out and then earn a surprise visit from the Vanilla Gorilla to help Rex Brody even the odds.

4) The Runway vs. Rex Brody/ Vanilla Gorilla: With this now being a tag-team match, The Runway would take advantage of the situation and take shots at Rex every chance they got. After the Gorilla was able to tag in the match would take a turn and Brody and the Gorilla would handle business and get the win.

5) The "Aztec Chief" EL Taino vs. "God's Favorite Son" Jimmy James: EL Taino was looking to bounce back after his match against KJE and looked to score a victory against James. The match was fast paced and would go back and forth with both men trading near falls. Taino would try and end the match but James would use the ref as a human shield and then follow up with a tornado clothesline and get the win.

6) Victor Vale vs. "Cutthroat" Bryan Convel: Both Convel and Vale were looking to avenge their "Breaking Ground 1" losses respectively. Convel caught Vale off guard with his speed, but as we have all seen power catches up with speed eventually and Vale was able to turn the match in h is favor. Not to be outdone, Convel mounted a comeback, But after being caught mid-air and turned into a power slam Vale was victorious.

7) "Lost Prodigy" Dios Salvador vs. "Heart Stringer" Ashton Day: What looks to be possibly the rivalry of the year in the Great Lakes Federation heated up with Round 2 of Salvador vs. Day. This was a 2-out-of-3 falls match and winner would take all. Day would use his wits and get the first fall via roll-up pin. putting all the pressure on Salvador to even the score at 1-1 which he would do the next fall. In the deciding fall both men would wrestle to a No-contest. The Crowd wanting to see a deciding fall would ask for five more minutes. The ref would oblige the crowd and give a 5 minute time limit but that would end quickly as Day would hit Salvador with a low blow and end the match giving the decision to Salvador by disqualification.
